Mathias Bala is a final year law student and a software engineer with half a decade of experience in programming and software development. At SafeSurg Robotics he leads the software engineering side of the work, including the design and build of this platform.

He is the founder of Karamelion, an AI document ingestion platform that helps people work through large volumes of material in a streamlined way. Answers stay grounded in the user's own sources, and the product has first class support for law students.

He has shipped software in a range of capacities, including international work with Benmore Technologies, a company based in the United States.
